Monday Aril 18: met each other at about 1, ate lunch at a small bistro near the train station, handled logistics of our trip, dinner near the duoma in the square surrounding it (cheap, need to order PESTO PASTA), got gellato (and ripped off) then went to campsite hostel

Tuesday April 19: switched hostels to the convent "istituto oblate dell assuzionne". woke up early and handled more logistics, duoma church (last jugement), interior is free, museum 6 euro (musee dell' opera del duomo)- saw a pieta by michealangelo, visited palazzo vecchio, walked ponte vecchio (famous bridge) and saw vasari corridor prince's passage, palais pitti, piazza michelangelo

Wednesday April 20: woke up and had breakfast at café michaelangelo, Academia (david). San lavenzo market, picnic on medicci chapel stairs. Orsanmichele church, santa marria nouvella and perfumery on seala. san miniato for gregorian chant mass and beautiful cemetery behind it. watched the sun set at piazza de michaelangelo and had Italian Ice! dinner at tratteria sabatino, met Hayden here. crossed ponte vecchio at night, passed the TRL music awards infront of santa croce?

Thursday April 21: woke up and had coffee at Michaelangelo's caffé comme d'habitude, cheap and great located on Alfanzi. In line at Uffizzia for an hour and a half (record timing!), bought nutella and had breakfast on the steps of pitti palace, visited santa spirito church, santa croce church, picked up quinn at Gare, headed to cinque terre
